Our longstanding experience has enabled us to become a leading player in the distribution of special steel products: hot rolled, forged, drawn, peeled, rolled, ground, chrome-plated, automatic and stainless steel articles.
The top quality service we guarantee is only possible thanks to the considerable quantity of finished materials available for delivery from our three warehouses in Rescaldina, on the outskirts of Milan, whose overall indoor surface area amounts to 35,000 square metres.
Owing to the experience of our qualified personnel and the presence of 50 automated band saws for custom cuts, we also offer the possibility to supply mass produced articles. 34 bridge cranes enable the rapid and accurate handling of goods, while 14 company vehicles guarantee direct delivery of customer orders.
Our Story
Siro Della Flora set up Metallurgica Legnanese in 1969 for the purpose of marketing special steel bars of various qualities and sizes. Down through the years, the Company has consolidated its market position by offering an increasingly wide range of products on Italian and international markets.
The success of Metallurgica Legnanese was backed up by the provision of an ever wider range of services which, in more than 50 years of business activity, has enabled the company to extend its warehouse from 300 square meters and two employees to the present structure with its 80,000 tons of goods available from stock in three warehouses.
Our commitment
We work day after day to strengthen our identity through the quality of our services to enterprises, while, at the same time, we give our wholehearted support to many of the sports and cultural activities underway in our territory, devoting special attention to the younger generations .
Our aim is to help advance the values we share with the athletes whose sports passion is motivated by their love for speed and tenacity (Metallurgica Legnanese sponsor of the Coppa Bernocchi bicycle race), with the young people who pursue academic studies inspired by their interest in research and in-depth understanding (Metallurgica Legnanese is among the donors of the Scholarships awarded by the Legnanese Family Foundation).
